FAQ
Is this passport photo tool free?
The compliance check is completely free — no email, no watermark. You only pay $6.95 when your photo passes every check and you want the download.
Can I take a US passport photo at home?
Yes. The State Department accepts home photos that meet size, framing, and background rules. Our AI enforces every rule before you pay, and exports a 4×6 print sheet any kiosk accepts.
Will an AI-edited passport photo be rejected?
Since January 2026 the State Department rejects AI-manipulated photos. Our pipeline is crop-first and rule-safe: it adjusts crop and lighting, and only replaces the background when your source photo truly needs it.
What happens if my photo is rejected anyway?
We refund you in full. Retakes are always free. Send proof of rejection within 30 days.
